Jungji Choi primarily focuses on business litigation, complex commercial and contract disputes, as well as international arbitration based on her expertise both in California law and Korean law. While practicing as an advocate at Yulchon, Korea’s one of the most prestigious law firms, Ms. Choi successfully represented domestic and international clients in matters involving capital markets, securities, insurance, banking and finance, international litigation and arbitration, divorce, and inheritance matters.

Ms. Choi provides creative and practical approaches to the most challenging and complex cases, contributing to the effective and successful development and implementation of case strategies. Prior to her legal career, she operated and monitored various international clinical trials of new medicines at one of the largest global healthcare companies, where she gained abundant firsthand experience and understanding of a multi-national company’s business operations and culture.

• Represented foreign clients in cross-border litigation matters in Korean courts as well as other international disputes in various arbitration seats involving foreign governing laws (mostly U.S. law).
• Successfully defended one of the largest Korean banks against multiple claimants seeking return of revenues from the sale of derivative-linked funds.
• Obtained acquittal on appeal for a client convicted of criminal fraud.
• Advised a world-renowned mobile phone manufacturer on a supply contract dispute with a large global tech company, resulting in favorable settlement.
• Designed and implemented numerous internal investigations over compliance observance of multi-national companies in the healthcare, IT and aerospace industries.
