Congratulations to Vivian Wong (UCLA School of Law, Class of 2017), who received the Lim Ruger Foundation scholarship at the annual California Bar Foundation Scholarship and Award Ceremony on September 18, 2014.
Vivian commits herself to advocating for underserved communities. Her experiences working with peers with disabilities through Power to ACT: Abilities Coming Together, which she founded, and at-risk youth through her Stanford Public Interest Network Fellowship fuel her desire to stay close to the people she serves throughout her legal and policy career. Vivian will pursue a career in public interest law, with a focus on civil rights and disability justice.
Also, congratulations to Noelle Park (Fordham Law School, Class of 2016) and Hyesoo Jang (Cornell Law School, Class of 2015), who were awarded the Lim Ruger Foundation scholarship at the annual International Association of Korean Lawyers on October 5, 2014.
